WeTech Ambassadorial program is open to undergraduate and graduate students who are women and are in computing related majors. You should be someone who is passionate about technology and building a tech community for women at their local campuses. In fact, you do not have to be studying core engineering or sciences to be an ambassador. We are looking for women who are super passionate about technology and promoting other women in it. We encourage women from all degrees to apply.

Desired Abilities and Qualifications

1. Some coding and technical abilities, with willingness to grow
2. Completed at least one year in undergraduate degree
3. Have a LinkedIn and GitHub account (if you don’t, create one)
4. Studying in a Nigerian or African Institution

Responsibilities

1. Organize (at least 2 events) hackathons, tech meetups, hour of code that directly affect women, per semester
2. Attend monthly e-meeting
3. Update and document plan of action and present recap of past events
4. 5 hours volunteering at a tech related organization, directly affecting women or girls
5. Must be present at WeTech 2020.
